Zelensky on a million drones this year: more will be contracted
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that in 2024, Ukrainian manufacturers have already contracted one million drones, and this figure will grow.
He announced this during his address.
Zelenskyy noted that he had heard reports from representatives of the Ministry of Strategic Industries and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, who informed him about the state of production and financing of drones.
"Our manufacturers have already contracted a million drones for this year, and there will be more in total for the next year. We do not disclose all the details, but the capacity to produce drones is growing," the President emphasized.
In addition, the meeting decided to increase funding for Ukraine's missile program.
