Zelenskyy announces preparations to strengthen air defense

Ukraine is preparing to strengthen its air defense. This may happen next week.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the President's address.
"Next week - we are already preparing - we will increase the capabilities of our state. In particular, our defense industry. We are also preparing new military support packages from our partners. We are also preparing to strengthen our air defense - this is a constant priority," he said.
Ukraine has received the entire nomenclature list of air defense systems that it had agreed on with its Western partners. But we need more of these systems. In particular, according to Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat, Ukraine needs more systems such as Patriot, SAMP/T IRIS-T, and NASAMS to protect the country and those facilities that the enemy will try to attack and destroy.
