Zelenskyy has no doubt that Trump can bring peace

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is confident that Donald Trump will be able to end Russia's large-scale military aggression after his inauguration in the United States and take office. And together they can force the Kremlin to a just peace.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the New Year's address of the President of Ukraine.

“I have no doubt that the new American president is willing and able to bring peace and put an end to Putin's aggression,” Zelenskyy said.

The Ukrainian president noted that Trump understands that the former is impossible without the latter.

“Because this is not a street fight where you need to pacify the two sides. This is a full-scale aggression of a crazy state against a civilized one,” he said.

Zelenskyy also believes that together with the United States, “we are capable of this power”: to force Russia to a just peace.

“That is, not to forget and not to zero out everything that Russia has done. Bucha, Olenivka, Avdiivka, all our destroyed towns and villages. That is why a truly just peace cannot come on the principle of “let's start from scratch,” the Ukrainian president explained.

Zelensky added that now “the score is not 0:0”.
