He also told Macron about his visit to Saudi Arabia for the Arab League summit.

Zelenskyy met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the first time since the outbreak of full-scale war in Ukraine.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Japan. Zelenskyy told the Indian prime minister about Ukraine's humanitarian needs, including demining and mobile hospitals. He also called on Modi to join the Peace Formula.

"The war has brought many crises and suffering. Deported children, mined territories, destroyed cities, ruined lives," the President said.

He thanked India for supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine and providing humanitarian aid. For his part, Narendra Modi thanked Zelenskyy for his help in evacuating Indian students from Ukraine.

Zelenskyy met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in Japan. He also met with Italian Prime Minister George Meloni.

With Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Zelenskyy discussed the preliminary agreements that were adopted on May 13 during a meeting in Rome, as well as political support, improving Ukraine's air defense, and training Ukrainian pilots.
