Zelenskyy meets with leaders of India, France, Italy and Britain

During his working visit to Japan to participate in the G7 summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with several leaders.

For example, he held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron. Zelenskyy thanked France for its important decisions on military and humanitarian support for Ukraine and also noted the importance of France's support for the fighter jet coalition and the country's participation in a training mission to train Ukrainian pilots.

Zelenskyy emphasized the priority of implementing the Ukrainian peace formula and involving as many countries as possible in this process.

He also told Macron about his visit to Saudi Arabia for the Arab League summit.

Zelenskyy met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the first time since the outbreak of full-scale war in Ukraine.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Japan. Zelenskyy told the Indian prime minister about Ukraine's humanitarian needs, including demining and mobile hospitals. He also called on Modi to join the Peace Formula.

"The war has brought many crises and suffering. Deported children, mined territories, destroyed cities, ruined lives," the President said.

He thanked India for supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine and providing humanitarian aid. For his part, Narendra Modi thanked Zelenskyy for his help in evacuating Indian students from Ukraine.

Zelenskyy met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in Japan. He also met with Italian Prime Minister George Meloni.

Zelenskyy and Sunak discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during the President's visit to the UK on May 14. The parties also discussed the development of bilateral relations and coordinated their positions on the eve of the G7 summit.

With Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Zelenskyy discussed the preliminary agreements that were adopted on May 13 during a meeting in Rome, as well as political support, improving Ukraine's air defense, and training Ukrainian pilots.
