The second peace summit could have a significant impact on the course of hostilities at the front in Ukraine and on Russia's actions.
This was stated by the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing his interview with Bloomberg.
According to Yermak, the second peace summit may be held in a country of the so-called Global South, probably in the Middle East. This will demonstrate the unity of the world amid Russia's attempts to divide it.
"The most important expectation from the second summit is the formation of the main preconditions for the cessation of hostilities. We need to end this war as soon as possible to achieve a just peace," he emphasized.
At the same time, the head of the OP noted that it is very important for Ukraine to ensure China's participation in the next summit. He believes that China is "a major player that is really capable of influencing Russia."
