According to Barrot, the French government's efforts to combat foreign interference and disinformation have revealed more than 30 new websites that spread pro-Kremlin propaganda across Europe.

The publication notes that this is in addition to the 193 domains already identified.

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that 25 of the 27 EU member states have been targeted in recent months.

The French Secretary of State for European Affairs noted that these online operations are aimed at destabilizing public opinion before the vote.

Speaking to journalists alongside his German and Polish counterparts, he called on social media platforms to block websites involved in foreign interference operations.
