Polish farmers have unblocked the Rava-Ruska checkpoint on the border with Ukraine for trucks to pass through. However, the ban on the entry of vehicles transporting grain crops will remain in place.

This is reported with reference to the press service of the State Border Guard Service and the agency's spokesman Andriy Demchenko on the air of a telethon.

According to the State Border Guard Service, Polish farmers have stopped blocking the movement of trucks in front of the Hrebenne – Rava-Ruska checkpoint. Registration and passage across the border in both directions is carried out as usual.

At the same time, it is noted that trucks transporting grain crops will not be allowed to enter Poland. This type of cargo can only travel through Poland in transit mode.

"In fact, this is the only direction that remained blocked as of this morning. And with its unblocking, all directions on the border with Poland are now unblocked," said Demchenko.

He noted that as of 10:00 a.m., more intensive truck traffic was observed through Rava-Ruska in both directions.

As a reminder, since the end of last year, Polish farmers have been blocking truck traffic on the border with Ukraine. At the beginning of this year, the situation was temporarily stabilized, but in February, the protests and blockade resumed.
