The countries participating in the "drone coalition" for Ukraine have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, under which they have created a joint fund for 45 million euros.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, this is stated in their joint statement published by the UK government portal.
According to the statement, the joint fund will allow for joint procurement for the fast and efficient supply of drones to Ukraine.
"To date, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Latvia, New Zealand and Sweden have pledged more than 45 million euros to the joint fund, and additional contributions are expected," the statement said.
The statement emphasizes the coalition's plans to supply one million FPV drones to Ukraine. Its members are also working to provide Kyiv with reconnaissance, attack and artificial intelligence drones, as well as counter-drone capabilities.
"Within the coalition, we will look for joint procurement initiatives to utilize and expand national industrial capacities," the statement said.-
The countries participating in the "drone coalition" also called on other countries to join its funding.
