A volunteer from Poland who fought in the Ukrainian Defense Forces was killed in combat in Ukraine.
This is reported by Yevropeiska Pravda with reference to PAP.
As noted, 22-year-old Polish volunteer Tomasz Senkala joined the ranks of the International Legion in the fall of 2023.
He died on July 13 near the village of Dibrova, Luhansk region.
On Saturday, July 20, the Polish soldier was laid to rest at Baikove Cemetery in Kyiv. The ceremony was attended by Polish Consul in Kyiv Pawel Ovad.
The Polish soldier will be buried in his hometown in the Lublin Voivodeship of Poland.
