The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck at the Rosgvardia base located in the temporarily occupied Henichesk, Kherson region. According to the occupiers, the strike allegedly hit residential areas.

This is evidenced by the reports of the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk and collaborator Volodymyr Saldo.

Volodymyr Saldo, the Russian-appointed head of the occupation administration of the Kherson region, said that around 14:00 Ukrainian troops struck Genichesk and Skadovsk.

According to him, the strike on the temporarily occupied cities was allegedly carried out using Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

The collaborator did not specify whether the shelling resulted in deaths and injuries.

Commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykola Oleshchuk published a video filmed in the temporarily occupied Genichesk. The video shows several columns of black smoke rising from the site of the strikes.

"Rosgvardia base in Genichesk... Ukrainian response to Russian missile terror was not long in coming," Oleshchuk wrote.

He did not mention the temporarily occupied Skadovsk, which, according to Saldo's collaborator, was also hit.
