Austria has admitted three girls with cancer from the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv, which was hit by a Russian missile strike, for treatment.
This was announced by Austrian Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer, RBC-Ukraine reports citing his post on Twitter (X).
He wrote that two girls were transferred to Innsbruck on July 22, and another will arrive in Salzburg on Thursday.
“We continue to help: two girls with cancer from the destroyed Ukrainian hospital will be transferred to Innsbruck today (July 22 - Ed.), and another will arrive in Salzburg on Thursday,” he said.
At the end of his post, Nehammer expressed his gratitude to all the authorities involved in Austria and Ukraine.
