Biden delegates authority over Ukraine Support Act

US President Joe Biden has delegated his authority over the Ukraine Support Act to the heads of the US Treasury and State Departments.

The statement says that Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken have been given the authority “vested in the president” by a number of provisions of the law.
This is the law “On Restoring Economic Prosperity and Creating New Opportunities for Ukrainians.”
In particular, it concerns the possibility of confiscating frozen Russian assets in favor of Ukraine.
