U.S. President Joe Biden has once again made it clear that he is not going to stop running in the 2024 elections.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, the head of the White House said this in an interview with NBC News.
The 81-year-old Biden called the remarks about his age "fair" but noted that he is only three years older than his rival Donald Trump.
"And secondly, my mental acuity is damn good. I've done more in 3.5 years than any president in a long, long time. So I'm ready to be judged on that," he said.
According to him, Democratic voters chose him as their candidate during the primaries.
"I will listen to them," Biden added.-
When asked by the host who he consults with when it comes to issues such as entering or leaving the race, Biden replied: "Me. I've been doing this for a long time."
He also expressed confidence that he would not lose to Trump.
"Listen, we knew it was going to be a tough fight from the moment he announced his candidacy. The polls show many different things, but there is no big gap between us. This is essentially a race with an equal chance of winning," Biden added.-
