Blinken vouches for Kamala Harris in foreign policy
U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has praised Vice President Kamala Harris's role in the Biden administration's foreign policy, thus demonstrating support for the likely presidential candidate.

When asked if foreign policy is not Harris's strong suit, given her focus on domestic policy before she became vice president, the secretary of state said that “it is a very strong suit.”
“Over the last three and a half years, I've had the opportunity to watch her very closely in the Situation Room, in the Oval Office, around the world, as a leading voice of American foreign policy and our diplomacy,” Blinken said.
He recalled her multiple trips to the Indo-Pacific and a trip to Africa, and said she “ran the room” at the high-profile Munich Security Conference in Germany, which was attended by world leaders and national security experts.
