Britain has sent multi-purpose Typhoon fighters to Poland to protect against Russian aggression.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to British Defense Minister Grant Shapps, who is quoted by the BBC.
It should be noted that Shapps did not name the number of fighters that were transferred to Poland.
Eurofighter Typhoon is a fourth-generation twin-engine multirole fighter. Its design makes it possible to significantly increase the maneuverability of the aircraft at large angles of attack and during supersonic flight.
Such aircraft can use Paveway IV and EGBU-16 bombs. This high-precision weapon has a channel for satellite guidance in addition to laser guidance. It also has the ability to hit multiple ground targets in one go with precision bombs.
