Defense forces continue offensive south of Bakhmut

Defense forces continue to advance south of Bakhmut. Over the past 24 hours, there have been 12 military clashes there.

According to RBC-Ukraine, the spokesman for the Eastern Military Group, Ilya Yevlash, said this on the air of a national telethon.

"On the southern flank, we continue our offensive, in particular, we have successes near Zaitseve, Klishchiyivka, Odradivka and Ivanivske. Our defenders continue to drive the enemy out there. Under heavy fire, they are holding the line and consolidating their positions," he said.

He said that the enemy opened fire on our defenders 580 times in this area. The Russians used aircraft 4 times, and 12 combat engagements took place.

However, the Defense Forces managed to eliminate 141 occupants, destroy 10 D-30 cannons, three D-20s, two Pion systems, and four Msta B howitzers.

Several occupiers' electronic intelligence devices were also eliminated, including KREDO-1E, a special device that detects the movement of equipment and people at any time of the year.
