Providing Ukraine with air defense systems remains a priority for the United States.
This was stated by the coordinator of the National Security Council at the White House, John Kirby, RBC-Ukraine reports citing his briefing.
Washington believes that one of the priorities in future military aid packages is to provide Ukraine with additional air defense equipment. The White House noted the operation of the modern Patriot air defense systems already provided to Ukraine.
"We know that air defense is a priority, and we know how well the Patriot systems have worked in Ukraine. Again, that's why we provided additional interceptor missiles last week. The only thing I can tell you is that we will keep it a priority going forward," Kirby said.
