This was stated by the Minister of Justice of Latvia Inese Libini-Egneri, RBC-Ukraine reports citing Delfi.

She said that she had met with her Estonian counterpart Kalle Laanet. The main issue of discussion was joint actions to support Ukraine in the field of justice.

According to the official, Latvia and Estonia have similar goals for the development of the justice sector and opportunities to exchange experience to form a joint action strategy at the European Union level.

"When assisting Ukraine, it is especially important to use both existing legal means and develop new ones, in particular, decisions on confiscation of property in favor of Ukraine," the minister emphasized.
