The Tallinn Children's Hospital Relief Fund has collected a targeted donation of 60 thousand euros from Estonian residents to restore the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital, which was destroyed by a Russian strike.
This was reported by Yevropeiska Pravda with reference to ERR.
Fundraising began immediately after the report of a Russian missile strike on the hospital.
According to the head of the Tallinn Children's Hospital Support Foundation, Inna Kramer, the amount of 60 thousand euros is not final. Donations will continue to be collected as long as the Kyiv hospital needs it.
Inna Karaulshchykova, the founder of the non-profit association Leleka, which helps Ukrainian refugees in Estonia and civilians in Ukraine, is the liaison between the Tallinn Children's Hospital Aid Fund and the Kyiv hospital Okhmatdyt.
According to her, Okhmatdyt is now trying to resume work as quickly as possible and set priorities to optimally distribute the incoming aid.
