Government allocates additional 15.5 billion for drones

The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated an additional UAH 15.5 billion for the purchase of drones for the Security and Defense Forces.
This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
“Today, the Government allocates an additional UAH 15.5 billion for the purchase of drones. The funds will go to the State Special Communications Administration, which is in charge of the relevant procurement,” Shmyhal said.
He noted that this is an additional resource to the UAH 43.3 billion already allocated for drones this year.
“With the funds allocated today, 300,000 drones will be delivered to our Security and Defense Forces,” he added.
