One of the leaders of the Palestinian group Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, was killed in the morning in the Iranian capital.

Literally from the IRGC's statement: “This morning (Wednesday) in Tehran, the residence of Ismail Ghania, head of the political office of the Islamic Resistance of Hamas, was targeted and he and one of his bodyguards were killed in the incident.”
It is reported that “further investigation into the incident is ongoing.”
CNN writes that in a separate statement, Hamas said Ghaniyeh was killed during an “Israeli raid on his residence” in Tehran after he attended the inauguration of the Iranian president.
