The day before, Donald Trump reiterated his thesis that he would quickly end the war in Ukraine as soon as he won the election - even before the official inauguration.
If he returns to the White House, Donald Trump will try to achieve a quick peace in Ukraine at any cost, and this will be a problem. Italian Defense Minister Guido Crozetto said this on Sunday, July 21, according to the Fatto Quotidiano newspaper.
“I believe that he will change the line of US policy, he will try to achieve peace by resuming a personal dialogue with Putin to quickly close the case, and this could become a problem,” Crozetto said.
As the Italian minister emphasized, “if you reject international law, the law of the strongest will prevail.” Trump's approach will apply to both the war in Ukraine and Palestine.
“Faced with territories occupied by tanks, you cannot end the war by crystallizing borders to quickly dismiss the problem. This would be an easy way to peace, but justice is something else,” emphasized Crozetto.
