Japan allocated 120 million dollars to Ukraine on a no-refund basis

Japan has provided Ukraine with 118 million dollars in non-refundable aid. The money was provided under two World Bank projects: HEAL Ukraine and HOPE.


This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

USD 70 million within the framework of the World Bank's HEAL Ukraine project is aimed at supporting the state budget as reimbursement of incurred expenses under the program of medical guarantees.

48.2 million USD within the framework of the World Bank project "Housing Repair for People's Empowerment" (HOPE). The project funds are directed to reimbursement of state budget expenditures used for compensatory payments to homeowners for repairs in apartment buildings and private houses in need of minor and medium repairs.
