The version of the attack on Kyiv's Okhmatdyt hospital voiced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov did not coincide with the version of Russia's UN representative Vasily Nebenzi.
This was stated by Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Serhiy Kyslytsia, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Kyslytsia on the social network X.
“Back in February 2022, at a meeting of the Security Council, I advised Nebenzi to dial his boss in Moscow more often and check his lies with him in New York,” the Ukrainian ambassador wrote.
He recalled that on July 9, at a meeting of the UN Security Council, Nebenzia said: “The videos posted by Ukrainian Internet users at .... show that a lone Ukrainian air defense missile arrives in the area of the children's hospital without any damage or interference. It is impossible to confuse it with anything by its distinctive plumage and other characteristics.”
Kyslytsya then quoted Lavrov's statement, which was disseminated by Z-resources on the Internet.
“For example, recently, when we were striking at the military and energy infrastructure associated with the military bloc, one of these missiles was shot down by the Ukrainian air defense system .... and the fragments of this missile fell on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv,” Lavrov said.-
“So what about the 'characteristic plumage' of a lone missile? Maybe Orwell also wrote about this, Basil?” - Kislytsya joked.-
