Microsoft stopped extending licenses to Russian companies
Microsoft Corporation has stopped extending licenses to Russian companies since September 30.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Russian propaganda media "TASS" and the publication DTF.
It will be recalled that at the beginning of August, Microsoft informed Russian companies that it would stop extending licenses for Windows operating systems from September 30.
It was emphasized that the company can no longer accept payments to a local bank account as payment for its services in the Russian Federation.
Thus, Russian Microsoft customers will not be able to renew subscriptions to corporate services such as Microsoft 365.
Microsoft noted that the licenses will not be extended, as they "obey the Western sanctions regime against the Russian Federation." They also reminded that the sale of all its products and services in the country has been stopped.
