Netherlands announces terms of transfer of F-16 aircraft to Ukraine

The Netherlands plans to deliver the first batch of promised F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine in 2024.
This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Defense of the country, Kaysa Ollongren, on MSNBC, Ukrinform reports.
According to her, first of all, Ukrainian pilots, technicians and all those involved in the management and maintenance of aircraft need to be trained.
"We really don't know how long this training will take, so we estimate six to eight months, which is really very fast compared to the training we do with our pilots. But it depends on many factors," she explained.
They are now working to launch a training center in Romania as soon as possible, Ollongren added.
