Poland to help train Ukrainian pilots on F-16
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said his country would help Ukraine train F-16 fighter pilots.
He said this in Chisinau at the summit of the European Political Community on Thursday, Polish Radio reports.
Morawiecki participated in a conversation between several prime ministers and the President of Ukraine regarding the training of Ukrainian pilots in the operation of F-16 aircraft.
"We have determined the schedule of these exercises. Poland will help Ukraine train F-16 pilots," he assured.
At the same time, the Polish prime minister added that Warsaw would not transfer this equipment to Kyiv, as Poland itself lacks them.
Morawiecki also said that he called on other countries that have Patriot air defense systems to share them with Ukraine as soon as possible.
