Russian army shells Nevske and Makiivka with Grad systems

Russian troops shelled Nevske and Makiivka in the Luhansk region with Grad rocket launchers.

According to Ukrinform, this is stated on the Facebook page of the Luhansk regional state administration.

According to the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Artem Lysogor, “the invaders fired 83 times at the positions of Ukrainian defenders and settlements along the line of contact. Nevske and Makiivka came under Russian fire. The enemy attacked Makiivka three times with multiple rocket launchers, and Nevske once more. The villages also suffered from shelling with cannon artillery and drone attacks.”

According to Lysohor, the enemy tried to break through the defense near Makiivka and in Serebryansky forest.

The regional administration reported that in the so-called “LPR” FSB officers check employees for relatives outside the “republic”. They also identify those who have relatives in Ukraine and work with them to isolate them from information that may come from outside the LPR.

According to the regional state administration, “residents of Rubizhne constantly complain about the lack of funds for the reconstruction of the city. Some say that money is not allocated by Russia, others say that it disappears into the pockets of local collaborators. The rubble in the city has not decreased in two years. Residents are offered to pay for the destruction with stew. Of course, there are those who agree to this, but they are few.”
