The Russian occupiers have committed another terrible crime. They shelled Kherson during the evacuation of people from the Ostriv neighborhood. As a result, law enforcement officers were wounded.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Russian war criminals fired from artillery. He noted that this neighborhood of Kherson is under daily shelling by the occupiers, and the undermining of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam has added another danger - water.
"Ostriv is rapidly sinking underwater. The flooding is so enormous that in some places it is no longer possible to leave by car. That's why people are being helped to evacuate. Even in such a bad time, the Russians decided to remind us who they are - terrorists," said the head of the OVA.
According to him, during the evacuation, the occupiers shelled the neighborhood with artillery and wounded two law enforcement officers who were helping people leave the dangerous area.
"Despite this, today about 1300 Kherson residents were evacuated. These people are safe now, and that is the main thing. Rescuers, police, volunteers. I am grateful to every person who joined the rescue of Kherson residents," Prokudin added.-
