Shmyhal met with British Ambassador Melinda Simmons
During the meeting, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and British Ambassador Melinda Simmons coordinated steps to strengthen cooperation and further strengthen Ukraine.
The head of the government announced this on Facebook, reports Ukrinform.
As the Prime Minister noted, Britain made a significant contribution to the stability of Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor. Since the very beginning of the invasion, she has been one of the leaders in supporting our country.
Shmyhal expressed his gratitude to Simmons for his help and personal efforts in the development of cooperation. "We appreciate the efforts to consolidate partners around the victory and restoration of Ukraine," he emphasized.
The head of the government reminded that the conference in London brought tangible results that will help in rebuilding Ukraine and implementing reforms.
Shmyhal also thanked the government and the people of Britain for their solidarity.
