The enemy fired 21 times on the Sumy region over the last day

On Sunday, August 6, Russian troops fired 21 times at the border communities of the Sumy region, 14 settlements were under fire.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"During the day, the enemy made 21 attacks. 139 explosions were recorded. 14 settlements in 7 territorial communities were fired upon: Krasnopilska, Bilopilska, Khotynska, Seredyno-Budska, Shalyhinska, Esmanska, Novoslobidska," the statement said.

The Krasnopilska community was subjected to mortar and artillery shelling (20 and 14 explosions, respectively).

The Bilopil community was also under fire from artillery (six explosions) and mortars (11 explosions).

The enemy fired at the territory of the Esman community with mortars (14 "arrivals"), artillery (12 explosions) and a machine gun (five rounds).

The Seredina-Buda community was attacked with mortars (four explosions) and artillery (16 explosions). The shelling damaged an outbuilding, a fence, and a moped.

Mortar shelling (11 explosions) was recorded in the Shalygynska community.

The Russians also fired at the Novoslobidska community with a mortar (11 "arrivals") and a grenade launcher (15 explosions).

In Khotyn community, two households were damaged as a result of mortar shelling (five explosions).
