The new coalition in Finland has agreed on the division of portfolios

The parties participating in the new government coalition in Finland have agreed on the distribution of ministerial portfolios between the parties, but specific candidates are still being determined.

As you know, the leader of the National Coalition, Petteri Orpo, will be the Prime Minister.

His party will have 8 portfolios in the government out of a total of 19, the True Finns will have 7, the Swedish People's Party will have 2 and 1 portfolios, and another will be shared.

The most important ministerial positions for Ukraine - the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Defense - will be held by members of the National Coalition.

In addition, the Coalition will appoint the Minister of Municipalities and Regions, the Minister of Social Security, the Minister of Labor, the Minister of Culture and Science, and the Minister of Climate and Environment.

The "true Finns" will receive the portfolios of the Minister of Finance, Minister of Foreign Trade and Development, Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Minister of Entrepreneurship, Minister of Justice, Minister of Interior, and Minister of Transport and Communications.

"The Swedish People's Party receives the posts of Minister of Education, Minister of Youth and Sports (for half a term), and Minister for Europe and Property.

"The Christian Democrats will appoint the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, and the Minister of Youth and Sports for half of the term.
