And Lithuanian citizens permanently residing in Ukraine who have a Lithuanian driver's license will be able to exchange it for a Ukrainian one without additional exams.

For such an exchange, a document proving permanent residence in the country, the original driver's license, and a valid medical certificate must be submitted.

"The agreement aims to settle the issue of mutual recognition and exchange of driving licenses of Ukrainian and Lithuanian citizens moving to the other party's country for permanent residence under a simplified procedure," Klymenko said.
