Ukraine and North Macedonia agree to simplify cargo transportation
On Thursday, the Ukrainian-Macedonian Joint Commission for International Road Transportation of Passengers and Goods agreed on the so-called "transport visa-free regime," which means the mutual cancellation of permits for certain categories of heavy trucks.
The Ministry of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine reported this.
The "transport visa-free regime" provides for the abolition of permits for bilateral and transit transportation for vehicles of Euro 3 and higher standard.
To use it, carriers must have a certificate from the manufacturer or an authorized institution to confirm the environmental class.
In addition, during the meeting of the bilateral commission, Ukraine and North Macedonia agreed to double the quota of permits for transportation to third countries for this year and next year, and agreed on the procedure for validity of these permits.
