Ukraine can end the war this year, but there is a condition

Ukraine can end the war with Russia this year, but it needs enough weapons to do so.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the words of Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, in an interview with La Repubblica.

"Russia will never change. It will always be aggressive. But Russia's inevitable defeat in the war against Ukraine will give Europe time to effectively build a pan-European defense system," Podolyak said.

According to the Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office, the war may end this year if a sufficient amount of necessary weapons is delivered in time. However, today our soldiers lack most of all:

• shells

• long-range missiles;

• modern fighter jets.
