Ukrainian pilots hone their skills on F-16 simulators - Ignat

Ukraine is forming new groups of military pilots who will learn to fly the American F-16 fighter jet in the future, while some pilots are already training on flight simulators of this aircraft model.

Source: Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the air of a national news telethon on the morning of October 2, Ukrayinska Pravda reports.

Ihnat's direct speech: "New groups are definitely being formed. Here, the pilots are doing their homework on learning (English) and adapting to the F-16 with the help of simulators - you have already seen.

What is happening there (abroad - ed.) is not public information, our partners do not want to talk about it much, they are just doing their job. And our pilots are learning.

So they are already flying on flight simulators - it's not a simulator, it's actually a full-fledged aircraft: a moving cockpit that completely replicates the F-16 cockpit. The next stage is flying with an instructor in real airplanes."
