Jun 1, 2023

Wagner PMC mercenaries still have not left Bakhmut, Donetsk region, and now they have another new date for "withdrawal". This was reported by Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar during a telethon.

Earlier, the leader of the Wagner group, Yevhen Prygozhyn, announced on June 1 that he was allegedly withdrawing his militants from the Bakhmut area.

"They fail to fulfill their promises and plans. As of today, certain units still remain in the Bakhmut area. It is worth mentioning that we have recently occupied the dominant heights around Bakhmut, and our Armed Forces are thus disrupting all the enemy's plans and preventing them from implementing such plans," said Malyar.

According to her, the Wagnerites have postponed the date of withdrawal from June 1 to June 10.

Meanwhile, the conflict between Kadyrov's supporters and Wagner's supporters is escalating. At first, Kadyrov's "right-hand man," State Duma deputy Delimkhanov, "ran over" Prigozhin, effectively summoning him to the "firing line."

In fact, the Chechens took the side of the Russian Defense Ministry, with which Prigozhin has a conflict.
