President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda.
This was reported with reference to the President's Twitter account.
The leaders discussed events in Russia, the situation around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, and preparations for the NATO summit in Vilnius.
"We discussed the latest developments in Russia and how they may affect the course of hostilities and the situation in the region. I spoke about the situation on the battlefield and the threatening situation created by the occupiers at Zaporizhzhia NPP. We agreed on our positions on the eve of the NATO Summit in Vilnius and other international events," the President of Ukraine said in a statement.
In his evening address, Zelensky also noted that during the conversation, the presidents discussed further strengthening of the Armed Forces.
