Ukraine is negotiating the signing of bilateral security agreements in continuation of the Vilnius Declaration of the Group of Seven with nine more countries in addition to the 23 with which agreements have already been signed.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with Ukrainian journalists in Kyiv on Monday, July 15, a Yevropeiska Pravda correspondent reports.
Zelensky noted that a total of 32 countries had joined the G7 Vilnius Declaration on "security guarantees" for Ukraine.
"These are 32 countries with which we have signed, or will sign, bilateral agreements on security guarantees. 23 countries already have relevant agreements with Ukraine, which include everything from money to weapons, from humanitarian aid to reconstruction," the President said.
"The approximate amount of these agreements is $38 billion, and I believe this is a powerful result," Zelensky added.
