Zelenskyy calls on the world to fight Russian disinformation

The Russian Federation is investing a lot of money and conducting powerful disinformation activities to divide the unity of the civilized world in supporting Ukraine.

This was stated by Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a joint press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, answering a question from an Ukrinform correspondent.

"When it comes to helping Ukraine, we work with all countries. I understand that Russia is working everywhere with its disinformation and narratives - working with societies, with politicians, with state institutions, with different parties, etc. - working very powerfully, investing billions to divide Europe, divide the United States, divide the world," the President emphasized.

According to Zelenskyy, it is very difficult to fight such actions of the Russian Federation, so he called on journalists, in particular, to help level this influence, to prevent the division of the unity of the civilized world.

"We cannot allow Russia to divide opinions in the world. If there is a division of opinion, a division of a powerful association that we managed to create at the beginning of the war, then there may be no help for Ukraine, this is a fact," the head of state said.
