He said this at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal and Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havrylyuk.

According to him, $50 million of this amount will be spent on short-range air defense systems, $30 million on the purchase of drones for the Ukrainian military, and another $15 million on equipment, including helmets, inflatable boats, gas masks, and power generators.

"Ukraine and its people have survived more than two years of full-scale Russian invasion, but their spirit remains strong. Australia will stay with Ukraine so long as Ukraine wins this war," Marles said.

He also said Australia would provide Ukraine with air-to-ground munitions.

"We understand that the conflict will be long-term, and we are committed to being with Ukraine. Ukraine must win for the sake of its future and world peace," Marles said.
