Hungary will not participate in the EUR 100 billion NATO fund for Ukraine proposed by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

This was stated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, RBC-Ukraine reports citing Reuters.

"Hungary will stay away from NATO's crazy plan (the fund for Ukraine - ed.), despite all the pressure," Szijjarto said.

In this way, he confirmed the position of Hungarian government spokesman Zoltan Kovacs, who said that Budapest would not support any NATO proposals that allegedly "could bring the Alliance closer to war or turn it from a defensive to an offensive coalition."

Let me remind our readers that Hungary is a member of NATO and the EU. Hungary openly supports Russia and its war against Ukraine.

However, neither NATO nor the EU take any action to influence Hungary. Is this democracy?
