It is not too late for Ukraine to win

Ukraine can still defeat Russia in a full-scale war. The occupiers' progress is not strategic.

According to RBC-Ukraine, this was stated by Rob Bauer, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, in an interview with VRT News.

"It's not too late for Ukraine (to win - ed.). The Russians have made progress, but it is still very limited and not strategic," Bauer said.

He added that the lack of support from Western countries has affected the course of the war. But most importantly, the allies continue to send aid.

"The longer the war goes on, the harder it is to do. Many countries have been providing weapons and ammunition from their stockpiles for two years now, but they are not endless," noted the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee.

According to him, the Alliance can now do two things: dig deeper into its own weapons stockpiles or push the defense industry to produce more and faster.

"It's probably going to take at least a year to really get the production in the West to increase. We will have to overcome this period so that Ukraine can prepare for the next counteroffensive. But it will not be easy. There are 450,000 Russian soldiers in the occupied part of Ukraine," he said.

I suggest that NATO countries and other partners take bets on winning the war.
