"Given the need for support, repair, and maintenance of the donated assets, Norway will provide up to NOK 150 million for the maintenance of Leopard 2A4 tanks in a maintenance center in Poland," Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gramm said, according to a press release.

It was recalled that in recent months, Norway has transferred to Ukraine military aid worth about 1 billion Norwegian kroner from the Norwegian Armed Forces.

It is noted that the Norwegian military support will continue in four main directions: donations from the defense sector; donations of funds received from the defense industry; training and education of Ukrainian personnel, as well as contributions through international mechanisms and cooperation.

As a reminder, the Norwegian Nansen program provides military and civilian support worth 75 billion Norwegian kroner for five years.

The Norwegian government allowed the direct sale of weapons and defense products from the Norwegian defense industry to the Ukrainian military.
