During his visit to Beijing, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken reaffirmed the White House's readiness for new sanctions against China if it continues to support Russia in its full-scale war against Ukraine.
He said this during a briefing on April 26, according to Yevropeiska Pravda.
Blinken noted that the United States' European partners have repeatedly expressed concern about the actions taken by Chinese enterprises to support Russia's defense industrial base.
"This concerns not only the immediate threat posed by Russia and its aggression against Ukraine. It's about the medium- and long-term threat that many Europeans are experiencing firsthand, that Russia potentially poses to them," he explained.
