Russia has once again intensified assault operations at the front, and Russian propaganda is spreading reports of a preparatory offensive on Kharkiv.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, spoke about the situation in the region in an interview with Channel 24.

According to Oleh Syniehubov, occupiers periodically change the direction of attacks. Active hostilities are currently taking place in the Kupyansk sector - near the villages of Synkivka and Tabaivka.

"It is too early to talk about the possibility of opening a new front line. The forces that are there are not enough compared to the Kupyansk sector, where the enemy is conducting active hostilities," said the head of the Kharkiv JFO.

Sinehubov explained that the Russian army should concentrate at least 100,000 troops to open a new front line, but the Russians do not have such reserves at the moment.

He added that the region is ready to counter possible challenges from the invaders.
