This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Reuters.

Four of those killed during the raid in the village of Deir al-Ghusun were members of the armed wing of Hamas, Al-Qassam. The Palestinian Ministry of Health said their bodies were taken by the Israeli military. The body of the fifth man killed was too mutilated to be immediately identified.

During the operation, which lasted more than 12 hours, the Israeli army also bulldozed a two-story house.

The Israeli military confirmed the deaths and said that an Israeli officer of a special police unit targeting a Hamas cell responsible for numerous shooting and car bomb attacks was wounded during the operation.

The Israeli army said the terrorist group was responsible for the killing of a reserve soldier and the wounding of a policeman in an attack last November, as well as for a car bombing in April that injured two Israelis, including a soldier.

The agency notes that Saturday's operation near the city of Tulkarm was the latest in a series of clashes in the West Bank between Israeli troops and Palestinians that have been going on for more than two years and have particularly escalated since Hamas' attack on Israel last October.
