Poland makes a statement on sending troops to Ukraine

May 5, 2024

The Russian dictator Vladimir Putin should be put in a situation where he does not know what to expect from Europe.

This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorsky, RBC-Ukraine reports citing RMF 24.

Referring to the words of French President Emmanuel Macron that he does not rule out anything when it comes to the presence of Western troops in Ukraine, Sikorsky said that it is right to put Putin in a situation where he is not sure what the West will do, instead of excluding certain scenarios in advance.

Asked whether Poland was considering sending troops, he said that the Defense Ministry would not reveal its cards.

"We will not reveal our cards. Let dictator Putin think about what we will do. We spend the largest part of our GDP in NATO on defense - 4 percent - and we can spend more next year," Sikorsky emphasized.

More empty words and empty threats. Is it hard to understand that Putin is not intimidated by empty words? He sees his impunity perfectly well, he sees the sanctions not working....

Maybe it's time to stop talking and act.
