This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The talks were held by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.

"I am grateful to the negotiation teams for the work already done - there has been tangible progress in agreeing on the text of the document. We need to speed up the process to finalize the bilateral security agreement this month," Yermak said.

According to the Presidential Administration, the parties discussed the most fundamental points of the agreement and the wording of a number of issues.

Also, during the talks, the participants decided on the date of the next round.

It is worth noting that Ukraine has been negotiating a security assurance agreement with the United States since last year. The dialogue was suspended when the Congress failed to pass a bill on funding to help Ukraine.

The best security guarantee for Ukraine is timely and regular arms deliveries. Less words, more deeds.
