Hamas fires rockets at southern Israel

On the afternoon of May 5, Hamas fired at least 10 rockets from the Rafah area in the Gaza Strip into southern Israel. This was reported by the Times of Israel.
The district council of Eshkol, which came under fire, reported that the rockets fell on an open area near a military position, injuring several people.
Hamas claimed responsibility, saying that the attack was aimed at a military concentration.
The Times of Israel later clarified that at least seven people were injured. Several of those injured in the attack are in serious condition, the publication said.
